Laborer - Roofing

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofing Laborer to join our team. As a roofer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on construction sites and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities for Roofer

• Transport and load/unload roofing materials in truck.
• Lay new roofing materials such as asphalt, rubber, shingles, insultation, wood, metal and plastics.
• Inspect roofing for damage and perform any needed repairs.
• Use hand and power tools such as hammers, drills, saws, and caulking guns.
• Establish safety equipment and adhere to company safety guidelines.

Qualifications for Roofer

• High school education or GED
• Construction safety certification such as OSHA training is a plus.
• Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending and lifting heavy loads.
• Previous experience in roofing, construction or related scope of work
• Communication and teamwork skills
• General knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques and specialties
• Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work.
• Ability to read and follow instructions from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
• Endurance to spend hours working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or cold.

Note: This is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
