Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales BDC (Business Development Center) Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in generating leads, engaging with potential customers, and setting appointments to connect them with our sales team. Key Responsibilities:

Handle incoming Internet and phone inquiries, make outbound calls and follow up on leads from various sources (website, social media, third-party platforms) in a timely manner to effectively maximize every opportunity.

Gather quality, accurate customer information, understanding their needs, and offering appropriate vehicles or services. Build strong rapport with potential customers through active listening and effective communication.

Schedule sales appointments for customers with the appropriate sales consultant. Follow up with customers to ensure appointments are kept.

Accurately enter customer information, lead details, and appointment schedules into the dealership’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Maintain organized records of customer interactions and progress.

Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition for customers from the BDC to the showroom. Assist in tracking the sales process to ensure leads are effectively nurtured.

Follow up with leads and customers post-visit to assess satisfaction, answer questions, and promote additional products and services. Develop strategies to keep customers engaged and interested in future sales opportunities.

Track personal and team performance metrics (such as lead response time, appointment setting rates, etc.). Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management regularly.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in a sales, customer service, or BDC role (automotive industry (experience preferred).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse customer base.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Comfort with making outbound calls and handling a high volume of leads.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency with Vin Solutions CRM systems and basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).

Positive attitude, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with automotive sales or the BDC process.

Knowledge of various automotive third-party tools.

Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) a plus.
