A Day in the Life"
As the Calibration Lab Manager , you will be at the heart of our laboratory operations, providing leadership and collaborating across the Division to achieve strategic objectives and exceed customer expectations. Your day will be filled with diverse responsibilities, from overseeing calibration and repair production to ensuring rental equipment readiness and offering technical expertise to both internal and external customers. You will play a crucial role in driving team performance and fostering a culture of excellence.
What You'll Do"
- Lead and inspire a team of talented technicians, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards.
- Manage the development and implementation of objectives, policies, procedures, processes, and systems within your area of responsibility.
- Monitor Laboratory and Division performance by analyzing relevant data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
- Address technical matters and interpret policies, procedures, and standards to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold ISO 9001 QMS certification and ISO / IEC 17025 calibration laboratory accreditation.
- Incorporate continuous improvement, maximize customer satisfaction, and apply Lean principles in all aspects of planning, decision-making, and execution.
- Work towards achieving Company, Division, and Department financial objectives.
- Maintain the confidentiality of company and customer information.
