“A Day In the Life”
As a Service Technician you will maintain modular equipment in the field at customer sites. You will perform problem solving maintenance for but not limited to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. You will also perform routine maintenance and construction in the field of modular buildings. Update and record information on company assets and systems. Perform routine evaluations of work to be performed. Safely operate Company provided vehicle (<10,000lbs GVW) to travel to various locations and service modular and related equipment. Duties include installing and repairing equipment, and training customer employees on how to maintain machinery. Perform trial run of machinery to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
“What You’ll Do”
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance service, repairs and construction for the areas of but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, HVAC, roofing and electrical in the field
- Responsible for the safety, quality and productivity of themselves at all customer locations
- Responsible for positive interface with the customer and ensuring the company’s reputation is improved with every customer contact
- Maintain inspection log(s) for equipment/vehicle and properly report exceptions; ensure equipment is maintained to Company and safety standards
- Safely perform all tasks and understand Company’s safety policies and procedures
- Deliver a high-quality output consistent with the Company’s construction standards
- Operate Company vehicle
- Read and understand blueprints, schematics, procedures and company specific work orders, work instructions and floor plans provided
- Work outside in variable weather conditions
- Use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
“Must Haves”
- Prior experience in construction or related work required; basic electrical, plumbing and flooring with an emphasis to learn HVAC
- Ability to communicate with customers regarding work status and service concerns
- Valid driver’s license
“Nice to Haves”
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- HVAC training and experience combined with an EPA certification preferred
Special Considerations:
- Local daily travel and occasional overnight stays
- May be required to drive extended distances to customer sites

Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objects
- Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activities
