What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neurology APRN or PA position at McGreevy NeuroHealth?
McGreevy NeuroHealth is a multidisciplinary clinic specializing in Neurology, Neurodiagnostics, and Interventional Pain Management. We are looking for (1) mid level practitioner (APRN or PA-C) with experience in Neurology. This position will be working under the supervision of the Neurologist and will help diagnose, treat, and manage the conditions of the nervous system including but NOT limited to stroke, memory disorders, movement disorders, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, and myasthenia gravis. The mid level provider will also manage diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive neurological health assessments and diagnostic evaluation of patients
- Manage neurological conditions such as memory disorders, movement disorders, epilepsy/seizures, headaches/migraines/neuropathies, neurovascular/stroke, neuro-immunology/multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, brain injury medicine, and neuromuscular
- Educate patients on their treatment options
- NO call or hospital work. All in-clinic in either St. Augustine and/or Palm Coast office locations.
Qualifications
- Current APRN or PA-C certification with a focus in Neurology
- Proficiency in patient care and assessment,
- Familiarity with EHR systems such as eClinical Works
- Knowledge of botulinum toxin treatment and suturing techniques
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including children and individuals with developmental disabilities
