1st and 2nd shift schedules at our East Cleveland, Warrensville Heights, and Brooklyn locations
$16.00/hour with a $1.00 shift differential for weekends!

Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the day-to-day personal care and safety of the participant.
- Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, toileting, bathing, ambulation, feeding, dressing, and participating in recreational activities; encourages independence as appropriate.
- Responsible for light housekeeping, laundry, and assisting with meal preparation.
- Anticipates needs to carry through activities in an organized, efficient manner; prepares all supplies and work area before beginning activities.
- May participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as requested; communicate relevant participant information to supervisor.
- Completes required documentation according to organizational guidelines and time frames in a legible and complete manner.
- Reports participant status changes to supervisor and other staff as relevant.
- Validates competency in basic skills and personal care services, annually, and as otherwise required.
- Completes ongoing training program requirements per organizational policy.
- Follows organizational policy for call-offs and completing time sheets.
- Assists with errands which may include grocery shopping or replenishing household goods.
- Understands and utilizes principles of infection control, including handwashing, bag procedures, and care of an infectious patient.
- Innovative in providing services with the available resources.
- Attend departmental meetings as scheduled.
- HHA (Home Health Aide), CNA (certified nursing assistant), or STNA (state-tested nursing assistant) certification is required. CPR certification is preferred.
- Prior experience working with frail, older adults, or persons with special needs, is required; experience with dementia patients is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift or move 50 – 75 lbs.
