Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping activities such as hedge trimming and other maintenance.
- Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and general maintenance to promote healthy growth.
- Assist in the installation of new landscapes, ensuring proper planting techniques and soil preparation.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor plant health and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, pruners, and rakes is essential.
- Experience using power tools like lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers is a plus.
- Knowledge of tree trimming techniques and general tree care practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
- Year round work
