As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and appliances, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial appliances.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics.
- Design solutions for complex mechanical problems to enhance system efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Drive a company van to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical skills with hands-on experience in appliance repair.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving the company van.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
