What a Lead Carpenter does :
- Perform various carpentry tasks such as framing, door hanging, flooring installation, siding, fine trim, and other custom woodwork
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Support the management of construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with subcontractors and other construction workers
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards
- Manage project timelines
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
