McHales is seeking an experienced HVAC & Electrical Service and Sales Manager to lead our teams and ensure operational excellence. Responsibilities :
- Develop and lead a high-performing team of residential HVAC technicians and electricians, focusing on skill-building, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor HVAC service technicians to enhance their sales skills, focusing on promoting HVAC retrofit installations and additional products, such as Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) solutions, to meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
- Train and mentor service electricians to enhance their sales skills, focusing on promoting electrical panel upgrades, whole-home rewiring, whole-home surge protection, and other value-added electrical solutions to meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and implement effective sales training programs for service technicians and electricians, ensuring they can confidently identify customer needs and recommend HVAC or electrical upgrades, retrofit installations, and value-added products.
- Monitor and assess technician and electrician performance, offering regular feedback and coaching.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to review goals, discuss challenges, and align on safety and service standards.
- Work closely with dispatch and customer service to streamline operations and meet client needs.
- Optimize schedules to ensure timely service while managing seasonal demands.
- Analyze departmental metrics and prepare reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
