Position Summary:
MMA&A is a fast-paced litigation firm seeking to add paralegals / legal assistants with outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently to our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Drafting client correspondence, discovery, pleadings, and other documents.
· Providing litigation support e.g., filing court documents, preparing discovery requests/responses, preparing for depositions, preparing exhibits and trial materials, attending court proceedings.
· Monitoring cases and conducting fact investigation, document gathering and legal research.
· Serving as a source of client information, support, and advocacy.
· Communicating effectively with clients, attorneys, staff, and outside parties.
· Maintaining data in case management system.
· Assisting with administrative office tasks as needed.
· Other tasks as needed

Qualifications & Prior Experience:
· Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (completed or in pursuit)
· Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; proficiency in electronic case filing and Adobe are a plus.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Highly detail-oriented
· Strong initiative in a fast-paced environment
· Extremely organized and able to multitask
