McHarrie Place is seeking a reliable, Dietary Aide to join our remarkable Food Service team in our open **PART TIME** opportunities for the 4 pm -8 pm shift and 6:30 - 2:30 shifts.

Our Dietary Aides support the mission of McHarrie Life by:
- Prepares beverages/food items for residents using approved sanitary methods and standard precautions. Cooks breakfast items for residents in each satellite kitchen and serves breakfast to residents. Works on tray line and delivers meal trays to resident units.
- Sets table settings in dining rooms according to individual resident meal tag.
- Transport's food items from the kitchen to satellite kitchens. Serves resident meals from steam table or food cart. Ensures that correct meal (including special diets, drinks and desserts) is given to each resident.
- Buses tables after each meal and cleans resident dining areas as follows: wipes clean (using approved sanitary procedures/standard precautions) table clothes, chairs, and any surfaces where needed. Cleans satellite kitchen area.
- Brings dirty dishes to dish room and follows dish washing procedures. Monitor's wash and rinse temperature of the dish machine to ensure that proper sanitation is accomplished. Washes pots and pans as assigned following proper sanitation procedures.
- Prepares and delivers resident snacks to Units.
Required qualities for successful Dietary Aides:
- Will have a Cooperative team spirit.
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with geriatric population.
- Ability to concentrate in a busy environment.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written and oral instructions.
