Our Housekeeping Aides support the mission of McHarrie life by:
· Maintaining resident rooms and/or other assigned areas of the facility in a clean, sanitary and safe manner. Daily cleans in resident rooms including dusting, mopping, scouring and polishing bathroom fixtures, gathers and disposes refuse from wastebaskets.
· Replenishes supplies such as toilet tissue, and hand soaps, etc.
· Vacuum carpets, shampoo when needed or according to frequency schedule.
Required qualities for successful Housekeeping Aide:
- Previous cleaning experience preferred with knowledge of use of cleaning techniques and cleaning solutions.
- Ability to perform job duties with minimum supervision.
- Ability to interact appropriately with residents, staff, and supervisors.
