Description
As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that MCHC patients receive the care they need. You will be responsible for managing patient flow, eliminating missed opportunities, and contributing to team productivity. Additionally, you will be a crucial part of achieving our organizational goals and business practices.
Duties Include:
- Performs daily responsibilities and decision-making processes in a manner that is Patient Centered by putting the patient’s needs first.
- Prepares for the workday by attending daily huddles and anticipating the needs of the team and the patients.
- Utilizes effective telephone skills blended with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, for optimum customer service.
- Pays close attention to provider schedules and utilizes color coding system to manage patient flow, by conducting real time conformation calls, no-shows, walk-in and same day appointments.
- Collaborates with team members, such as: front desk staff, call center, other PSC, and Lead LVN to reach productivity goals.
- Conducts real time confirmation calls as well as robust confirmation calls, according to current standards.
- Conducts follow-up phone calls to no-show patients to find out why they were unable to make their visit.
- Communicates patient feedback to Supervisor, in order to continuously improve service delivery and remove roadblocks to customer service excellence.
- Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Practice Management (EPM) system by utilizing the system to perform essential functions of the job.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- One or more years’ experience in a customer service role
- One or more years’ experience in healthcare
