We have openings for a part time Certified Nursing Assistant.Work week : 2 : 30 p.m. to 10 : 45 p.m. and every other weekend.Hours : 23.25 per weekJob Summary : The Certified Nursing Assistant works with the residents to provide clinical support with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, feeding, transporting, transferring, etc. as well as assist with various non-clinical resident needs throughout the day. The CNA also completes charting per state and federal guidelines.Job Functions :
- Provides direct patient care services to clients according to nursing service and infection control policies and procedures.
- Provides nursing care services to clients including take and record height and weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and hemoglobin. Directs clients to examining rooms.
- Performs general housekeeping including mopping, sweeping, and changing bed linens for residents unable to perform these tasks; disinfects rooms according to infection control policies and procedures.
- Prevents spread of infection through proper handling and transporting of laundry, bedpans, linens, and washbasins.
- Delivers nutritious meals and snacks to elderly clients and assists client with eating when necessary; removes meal trays and properly disposes of waste.
- Perform personal hygiene related services for clients including bathing, hair care, skin care, and dressing.
- Escorts ambulatory residents in moving from place to place and in moving in and out of vehicles.
- Observes the overall health and well being of clients and reports to supervisor any problems such as signs of physical or mental deterioration or signs of abuse or neglect.
- Maintains and updates client charts; checks for proper signatures and documentation. Completes forms and documentation regarding personal care and treatment provided, level of response to treatment, food intake, bodily functions, and changes in condition. Document and perform admissions, discharges, and transfers according to established procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED : Education and Experience :
