Customer Service and Inventory Control

Job Overview
We are looking for a hardworking individual who is looking for long term employment with a growing, family-owned company.

Small business atmosphere, with M-F operation.

We need an Inventory and Customer Service Team Member who is detail-oriented and proactive to manage inventory levels, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and supporting demand planning efforts. Customer service will be needed for this role, answering phones in a responsible and respectable manner, assisting walk in customers with questions and products and assist in developing the merchandise in the showroom. This is a smaller inventory role. Minor parts assembly and use of hands and wrenches will be part of this role.

Duties

• Answer phones and address walk-in customers.
• Process transactions accurately.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels using POS systems to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with Service Manager to buy the necessary stock based on demand forecasts.
• Oversee order processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy.
• Utilize data collection techniques to gather insights on inventory trends and performance.
• Implement process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency in warehouse operations.
• Minor parts assembly; have the ability to assemble minor fittings (on-site training involved)

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management or related fields with a focus on small parts inventory and customer service.
• Familiarity with computer systems and their applications in inventory control and point of sale.
• Previous exposure to order fulfillment processes and demand planning is highly desirable.
• Excellent organization skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• The ability or willingness to learn some minor assembly using wrenches, screwdrivers Etc.
• Customer service, Phones and Walk-in customers.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
