Key Responsibilities
- Family Engagement: Engage with families to understand their needs and preferences, and develop personalized plans to support their goals.
- Service Coordination: Coordinate with various agencies and service providers to deliver a range of services, including home studies, supervision, and post-adoption support.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of family interactions, service provision, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a human behavioral science, such as Social Work or a related discipline, with one to three years' experience in a social services agency.
- Knowledge and Skills: Principles and practices of social work, including the NASW Code of Ethics; Michigan Department of Health and Human Services policies and procedures; effective communication and interpersonal skills; and ability to maintain confidentiality.
