Job Summary
The MCHS Family of Services is seeking a highly skilled Foster Care Department Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Foster Care Department, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of unaccompanied children in care, developing Individual Service Plans, and ensuring that the youth receive the full range of services identified in the plan.
In this role, you will also provide assessment of the relationship between the youth and the sponsor, utilizing safe screening methods to ensure that the identified sponsor is an appropriate placement for the youth. Additionally, you will provide direct assistance to the sponsor to ensure thorough completion of documentation required for timely release of the youth.
As a Foster Care Department Case Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse group of individuals, including social workers, case managers, and other professionals. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (orally and written) required
