What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foster Parent Engagement Specialist - Spanish Speaking position at MCHS Family of Services?
The Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment and licensing of long term foster homes for the agency’s Unaccompanied Children program.
- Oversee and conducts foster parent orientation and training.
- Works cohesively with the case managers regarding clients case plans.
- Conducts home evaluations and annual reassessments.
- Investigate complaints that relate to the care of children in the foster home to maintain compliance with licensing regulations.
- Passion for working with the Unaccompanied refugee children population.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (orally and written) required.
