International Logistics Branch Manager

Role and Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Oversee a team of 7 full-time employees. Manage day-to-day operations for the branch, ensuring seamless execution of logistics, LCL & FCL quoting, booking and shipping processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes high performance and continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that high standards of customer service are maintained, addressing client issues promptly and effectively.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, finance, and logistics, to ensure coordinated service delivery and support for customer needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key operational metrics, analyze performance data, and develop strategies to achieve operational goals.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the branch budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular operational reports and updates to senior management, highlighting performance and areas for improvement.
- Training and Development: Facilitate training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge in logistics and supply chain operations.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in operations management within the logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing branch operations and driving operational excellence.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes, including NVOCC, LCL, FCL, and CFS operations.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively.
