Instructional Designer
Instructional Designer with 10-15 years of experience in curriculum design and implementation to analyze and fix disconnections between learning performance and available tools.
Knowledge of creating videos using avatars with human voice tone is highly desired.
This is important and crucial to this job (there will be one week of visits to the client office then training client staff on how to use video editing and PDF programs from home. also there is work on editing and creating contents from home. but there will be interaction with the client personnel during work hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm specially for the training hours.)
An instructional designer is responsible for creating instructional material, courses, curriculum, student guides, and training manuals; redesigning content to ensure it matches the learner’s needs; creating visual, audio, and interactive learning tools and programs for a variety of audiences and settings. The main goal of an instructional designer is to design and develop instructional materials for CTA induction refresher training, Mobile wash, scrubber machines, Station Supervisor, Station Supervisor Heavy Duty Scrubber Machines, mobile wash station supervisor, additional two weeks of CTA shadow training, standard of excellence guide, quick reference guides, elevator, and escalators cleaning, redesigning current courses, developing entire courses or curriculums, and creating training materials, such as teaching manuals and student guides that are effective, engaging, and meet the needs of the learners.
Responsibilities may include:
· Analyzing the learning needs of the target audience and identifying performance gaps
· Designing and developing instructional materials such as lesson plans, assessments, and instructional content
· Creating instructional design plans, including instructional strategies, assessment methods, and media choices
· Developing and maintaining instructional materials and updating them as needed
· Collaborating with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure that instructional materials are accurate and meet the needs of the learners
· Testing and evaluating instructional materials to ensure they are effective and meet the desired learning outcomes
· Staying up-to-date with current instructional design trends and best practices to ensure that instructional materials are current and relevant
· Creating multimedia and interactive instructional materials to enhance the learning experience
An instructional designer should have a strong background in instructional design, education, and/or training, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. They should also be familiar with learning management systems, multimedia development tools, and be comfortable with the use of technology in the design process.
