Underground Utility Worker - MCI Job Opportunity

Job Overview:
- Full-time position
- Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Hours: 40 - 70 per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction sites, materials, and tools
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and tools
- Remove debris and restore work sites
- Assemble and dismantle temporary structures and barricades
- Operate commercial vehicles and trailers (with proper qualifications)
- Regulate traffic and install signs according to MUTCD guidelines
- Adhere to OSHA 1926 Construction Safety standards
- Perform underground excavation work, including digging and trenching
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions
- Team player with good communication skills
- High school diploma (preferred but not required)
Additional Requirements:
- DOT Medical Card (for operating vehicles over 10,000 lbs)
- Nice to have the ability to get a CDL with tanker endorsement (for vehicles over 26,000 lbs)
