We are looking for a part-time dietary aide to join our team
Schedule: Sunday 6am- 2:30pm Friday-Sunday
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis
- Assist in daily cleaning duties
- Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures
- Assure that utensils are readily available for next meal
- Prepare and deliver snacks as instructed
- Complete other dietary service functions assigned by the Dietary Manager

Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
- Ensure that all food is handled safely and meets health regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents during meal times, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Support cooking staff with various tasks as needed, including food preparation and cooking assistance.
- Follow all safety protocols while working in the kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors effectively.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with food service duties.
