What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor position at McIntosh Trail CSB?
Description:
Must have: CADC I or CADC II
Provides oversight and is responsible for coverage of counseling groups. Completes documentation of groups and individual counseling sessions per agency timeline. Monthly reports to DFCS, court, and probation. Conducts behavioral health, drug and alcohol assessments. Attend weekly clinical staffing with clinical team. Attend daily shift, and community meetings. Approve visitation, phone pass, and off ground pass. Function as a treatment team member. Performs/completes clinical activities for caseload. Routinely consults with Clinical Supervisor / Director, TCC, Outreach and medical team to discuss issues and coordinate care. Function as a treatment team member. Performs/ completes clinical activities for caseload. Coordinate care.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or as Certified Addiction Counselor. (MAC, CADC/ I-II, CAC-/ I-II) From the Georgia addiction counselor’s association (GACA) or equivalent certification (ADACBGA)
