Client Support Worker needed for full-time evenings and some weekends
Provide overall guidance of house and residents; ensure the safety and well being of residents and staff; guide, teach daily living skills, encourage and provide a safe environment for residents; provide transportation to outside appointments such as dental, medical, judicial, psychiatric, etc.; oversee daily chores; ensure medications is properly stored, administered and recorded; provide daily activities and groups; documentation of notes required.
Experience Preferred:
Working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
NOTE: McIntosh Trail Community Service Board conducts background checks on all final candidates. Hiring of applicants is contingent upon satisfactory results of:
- Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record Database
- Drug Screen
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years
TB testing will be required upon appointment. If you have previously tested positive for TB, you will be required to bring a copy of your chest x-ray on your first day of orientation.
