Job Description:
We are seeking a Social Media & Event Marketing Coordinator to manage the promotion of our events and enhance our brand presence. This role is perfect for a creative and organized professional who excels in event planning, social media marketing, and digital engagement. The primary goal is to drive attendance to events, increase community engagement, and build brand awareness through effective marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:Event Planning & Promotion:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events, workshops, and community outreach programs across key locations in Chesterfield, St. Charles, St. Louis, and surrounding areas.
- Develop and execute event marketing campaigns targeting local communities to maximize attendance.
- Handle event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, scheduling, and post-event follow-up.
- Design and produce promotional materials using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
- Track event metrics to measure success and adjust strategies for future events.
Social Media & Digital Marketing:
- Manage and create content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other platforms to promote events, services, and business updates.
- Develop and execute paid social media campaigns for targeted outreach in Missouri’s major locations.
- Utilize Google Ads, SEO, and Google Analytics to optimize digital campaigns and increase online visibility.
- Coordinate social media posts and engagement using tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
- Track performance metrics and adjust campaigns to improve engagement and results.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Planning, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 2 years of experience in event planning, social media marketing, or digital advertising.
- Familiarity with major Missouri locations such as Chesterfield, St. Charles, and St. Louis to effectively target local communities.
- Strong experience in event coordination, including logistics, vendor management, and promotional planning.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc.) and content creation.
- Google Certifications (preferred but not required):
- Google Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Certification
- Google Ads Certification
- Google Analytics Certification
- Experience in using email marketing tools like Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and think creatively.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship, Contract
Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
