Job requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US.
- Willing to travel for extended periods of time, up to 4-6 months at any given time, if needed
- Must have your own basic hand tools (cordless drill, hammer, tape measure, marking pencils, utility knife, 6” square, socket set, wrench set, head lamp, knee pads, 4’ level, channel locks, crescent wrench, and tool bag) and work boots, PPE is provided to installers by company
- Previous construction experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical labor at project construction sites
- Candidates may be subject to background checks and drug tests, if required by Project Job Site.
Job responsibilities and description:
- Working alongside contractors and other construction workers at a job site
- Identifying hazards - Identify hazards that workers on the platform may not be able to see, such as overhead hazards.
- Removing obstructions - Spotters are responsible for identifying and removing ground obstructions to ensure the stability of the scissor lift.
- Traffic control- Implement traffic control measures to keep other workers and vehicles away from the scissor lift.
- Ground guides - Spotters can use ground guides when moving or operating the scissor lift.
- Being visible - The spotter remains visible to truck and equipment operators when they are moving.
- Cleaning areas where your trade will be working.
- Various duties or tasks relating to your trade’s scope of work assigned by Senior Superintendent or Project Manager
- Required to work weekends or overtime depending on the needs of the jobsite you are actively working at.
Job details:
- Starting pay at $14.50 per hour
- Full time role, guaranteed 40 hours of work
- Expected hours: 40 – 53 per week, Monday through Friday with weekends as needed
- Weekly pay, every Friday
