Job Summary:
The Strategic Analyst serves as a critical part of the Strategic Initiatives Group, a small team focused on facilitating effective development of the organization through operational and financial expertise that is used to develop initiatives which support and strengthen the composition and functions of the company. A strategic analyst will conduct assessments to determine the impact, implication, consequences of events, and trends to develop well thought out initiatives to support and provide strategic direction to departments.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Phase 1: Initial Strategic Support
- Analyze business processes, operational data, and market trends to provide actionable
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize strategic
- Assist in the development of strategies to optimize resource allocation, efficiency, and
- Provide insights to drive informed decision-making across all levels within the
- Prepare reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to executive
Phase 2: Transition to Day-to-Day Involvement
- Gradually assume more operational responsibilities, actively participating in the day-to-day management of the business.
- Lead or support initiatives that align with both short-term and long-term business objectives, focusing on innovation, operational effectiveness, and execution.
- Work closely with department heads to implement recommendations and oversee the execution of business strategies.
- Specific responsibilities for Phase 2 will be determined based on the evolving needs of the company and the Strategic Analyst’s skills and expertise.
Work Environment
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, tablets, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This position works within normal office hours of 8am-5pm and may require extended hours and occasional weekend work.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree - Business Management and administration or related field of study from an accredited program
- Business management experience, required.
- 5 year minimum of experience in a leadership position.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding work environment with the ability to travel on short notice.
- High proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others (Owner's, Contractors, Project Managers, Engineers, Field Installers, and other team members) in a multi-discipline project team environment to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives.
