Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with families and other professionals to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Collaborate with person supported, direct staff, family members and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
- Advocate for clients with developmental disabilities in various settings, including schools and community programs.
Experience
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis is required.
- Experience working particularly those with developmental disabilities or special education needs.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- A passion for working with individuals with disabilities and a commitment to improving their quality of life through evidence-based practices.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
