What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive Pacific Northwest, Government position at MCK McKesson Corporation?
The Account Executive, Government (AE) is responsible for managing Government Business (VA) within an assigned Pacific Northwest territory meeting contractual obligations relating to service, visits, etc. as outlined in the national agreement. You will be the primary field point of contact for customer escalation and resolution. You must live within assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring day-to-day customer activities related to pharmaceutical distribution services as outlined by the national contract. Liaison between customers and appropriate McKesson internal departments, support teams, cross business unit collaboration if applicable. Escalation lead.
Conduct training (internal & external), education on McKesson technology & applicable programs (i.e. QBR, McKesson Connect, Mobile Manager, CSOS).
Customer pre-call planning to include but not limited to report generation, identification of customer initiatives, quarterly business review, industry knowledge
Consistent utilization of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software as outlined by the contractual commitments
Build and maintain effective customer relationships, foster and grow relationships with key stakeholders internal (i.e. OPS, Regulatory, etc.) and external (i.e. VISN Chief, etc.)
Scheduled travel to onsite customer locations as required by contract
Other duties as assigned by VPS (i.e. training, new account implementations, etc.)
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects / tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Account Management experience preferably in hospital, acute care or pharmaceuticals
Ability to effectively manage conflict
Detail oriented
Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned territory and attend company meetings as required
Ability to prioritize and organize while working autonomously
Knowledge of the healthcare industry preferred
Successfully complete all required training

Working Conditions
Home office with extensive territory travel (i.e. multiple states) up to 75%
Physical Requirements
