What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Fill Pharmacy Inventory Lead position at MCK McKesson Corporation?
Supports Inventory Supervisor / Manager with planning, facilitating, and actions regarding inventory functions and teams.
Facilitates the daily team operations ensuring daily inventory related work is accomplished.
Adherence or compliance of policies or procedures / SOPs.
Responsible for overseeing the administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, products and supplies.
Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped and creates purchase orders.
Co-ordinates processes surrounding removal and return of outdated / damaged / recalled items to the Distribution Center and / or INMAR for credit.
Oversees and schedules inventory control activities of inventory team, including daily receiving, cycle count, data entry, item additions, report generation and reconciliation.
Works with mail team to bring in product to support mail order scripts and co-ordinates responses to Wegmans on backorder items.
Maintains 99% service level for items by utilizing drug movement, pre and post omit reports, market item supply reports to keep levels sufficient on a daily basis; reports out to McKesson and Wegmans inventory supply teams.
Runs and reviews reports daily; (scorecards, 53210 and 55070 inventory accounts, YMIMCFF) researches historical discrepancies and takes action for improvement
Compares formulary change files received from Wegmans against Central Fill formulary and make changes as necessary.
Partners with Wegmans Inventory team to maintain Central Fill mapping file.
Runs discontinued item reports and finds alternative items to slot in place of items being removed.
Maintains hazardous item list ensuring all items are set up for proper shipping.
Manages Supplies Kanban by executing kanban order requests using kanban cards.
Periodically coordinates and executes RFQ’s to help ensure McKesson is receiving the best value from suppliers.
Communicates inventory concerns with receiving and production teams.
Searches for and drives supplies improvement opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications :
2 years inventory experience
Knowledge of Formulary Maintenance
Experience with Inventory Planning systems is preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Internet use
SAP knowledge a plus
