Job Title : Lead Cloud Platform Architect
About the Role :
We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Cloud Architect to join our Enterprise Cloud Platform Technologies Services team and help us accelerate our cloud initiatives to drive trust, agility, and cloud adoption among McKesson. You will be responsible for ensuring that our cloud infrastructure meets the highest performance, security, scalability, and reliability standards. You will also work closely with other architects, developers, and engineers to deliver innovative, secure, cost-effective cloud solutions. This role will work closely with Solution Architects to create features and functionality within our cloud environment that scales across the enterprise.
What You’ll Do :
- Understand the organization's business and technical requirements to design appropriate cloud solutions.
- Develop high-level architecture and system design for cloud-based applications and services.
- Provide guidance and best practices on cloud architecture, security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, developers, operations teams, and business leaders, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct technical assessments and optimization reviews for existing and new cloud deployments.
- Provide clear documentation of cloud architectures and design decisions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the cloud domain and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation.
