As a member of the Philanthropic Giving / McKesson Foundation Team, the Senior Manager - Employee Philanthropy Programs is responsible for supporting and driving individual and team volunteerism, matching gifts, McKesson Foundation scholarships and Taking Care of Our Own Fund. The position is an advocate for employee engagement and a liaison between employees and social impact opportunities. The successful Senior Manager - Employee Philanthropy Programs is an experienced employee engagement champion and facilitator with demonstrated success in cultivating internal and external partnerships, setting program strategy and goals, evaluating impact, managing reporting and communication, and creating and leading corporate social responsibility programs.
The Senior Manager will have a direct report and influence employee engagement through trust and credibility with HR, ERG and business colleagues, as well as community partners and business vendors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Manager - Employee Philanthropy Programs consults with internal and external stakeholders to provide customized and practical options to encourage and enable volunteerism; increase awareness of and participation in employee philanthropy programs; and reliably track, evaluate and report program metrics.
Community Partnering :
- Cultivate a network of nonprofit partners with accessible volunteer opportunities in McKesson communities in the U.S. and Canada
- Provide guidance on a philanthropic volunteer strategy in McKesson communities in the U.S. and Canada
