What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategic Pricing Analyst position at MCK McKesson Corporation?
The Strategic Pricing Analyst is responsible for the day to day operations of the team. Responsibilities include development of customer pricing best practices / methods, analytical tools / reports and communications to execute on improvements that reduce company risk, enhance financial performance and advance the success of our business partners.
- Review and Process Non-Vendor Supply Agreements and MCFs Work with stakeholders regularly to manage and resolve escalations, projects, and issue resolution / investigationPartner with Data Management and Sales to ensure proper implementation of pricing conditions per Customer AgreementsMaintain and create positive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersWork with Legal to determine appropriate, standardized language for pricing in supply agreementsConduct daily audits of differential pricing by account number to ensure compliance with manufacturer 340B model, addressing any changes in customer OPA / HRSA classifications.Collaborate with the 340B Team and leadership to implement updated pricing procedures, enhancing compliance and efficiency.Partner with IT to integrate HRSA / OPA data directly into the customer master, streamlining the account classification process.Coordinate and audit materials with product management to ensure all relevant manufacturer items are accurately included in differential pricing before the creation of new item numbers.Lead training initiatives to establish and communicate new processes, ensuring team proficiency and accurate documentation maintenance.
- Identify & Develop Process Issues / Resolution Work with internal and external business to assist in designing new pricing procedures and protocolsResolve complex problems that have impact across multiple functional business unitsAssisting in developing reports and analysis
- Analytical Tools and Projects Assisting in developing analytical tools and reports to communicate and execute improvements that reduce company risk, enhance financial performance, and advance the success of our business.Prioritize opportunistic ad-hoc projects and requests as necessary with the team.Liaison with multiple business function leads (Sales, BI, Pricing / Business Development, Rebates, Accounting, Legal, etc.) to gain consensus and initiate implementation of improvements that positively impact financial efforts.Assist in developing stable business processes for ongoing pricing monitoring and reporting.
- Training Inform, Communicate, and Develop all new or existing processes to existing team members and new team members.Perform ongoing training and education with internal and external peers to ensure process adherenceEnsure all new or existing training documentation is properly documented and published in the appropriate avenues
