Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Skills and Strategic Workforce Planning Sr. Specialist to join our team. This employee will support the Talent Strategy team through data analysis, initiatives oversight, PowerPoint creation, reporting, and collateral / deliverable creation for pilot programming and beyond as part of our Skills journey at McKesson. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing and executing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities :
- Skills Data Analysis : Collect, analyze, and interpret data across our new AI-driven skills technology and in conjunction with Workday employee profiles. Support the development and maintenance of talent supply visuals, dashboards, and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) against the committed work.
- Market Intelligence Research : Conduct comprehensive research on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategic workforce planning. Analyze data to identify opportunities and threats, and provide actionable insights to the Talent Strategy team.
- Insights Sharing : Regularly share market intelligence and workforce insights with the HR community and business customers. As the subject matter expert, prepare and present reports and findings that highlight strategic implications for the organization.
- Workforce Trends & AI / Automation : Keep a constant pulse on new workforce trends and AI / Automation opportunities. Advise the Talent Strategy team on how these trends can be leveraged to improve workforce planning and operational efficiency.
- Initiatives Oversight : Support various initiatives within the Talent Strategy team, ensuring they align with organizational goals and objectives as set with our HR and business customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and successful completion of initiatives, as well as monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Asset Creation : Aid in the design and development of compelling PowerPoint presentations for various stakeholders, including leadership. Translate complex data and information into clear, concise, and visually appealing presentations, instrumental to quality outcomes.
