POSITION DESCRIPTION
We currently have a seasonal part time Store Assistant position available for our fall season with the possibility of hiring back in spring. This would be a great opportunity for someone who likes plants and gardening and wants to grow and share this passion with others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Helping retail customers select products and check out
- Assisting with plant care
- Additional general labor duties as assigned due to seasonal fluctuations
BEST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
- Basic Plant Knowledge
- Experience in Nursery, Landscape or Garden Center industries preferred
- Customer service experience
- Sales experience
- Ability to prioritize job duties in a fast-paced seasonal environment
- Strong work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to work with others to achieve the team goals
- Demonstrated willingness to learn
