Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, leasing, maintenance, and financial reporting.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations while ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
- Utilize property management software (such as Yardi) for data entry, record keeping, and reporting purposes.
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new tenants and upsell available units or services.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
- Maintain accurate records of property performance metrics and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Oversee maintenance requests through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure timely responses.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong legal administrative knowledge related to real estate laws and regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with tenants and clients.
- Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks related to real estate management.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and upselling strategies is a plus.
- Experience using property management software such as Yardi is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor contracts and tenant agreements.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
