Boutique law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an employment litigation associate with 5 years of California employment litigation defense experience to join their practice. Any prior experience handling single plaintiff, class action, and/or advice and counsel are highly preferred.
You must have at least five years of experience in practice, an active California bar license, and solid litigation skills (i.e. legal research and writing, propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, law & motion practice, preparing for trial, corresponding with clients/opposing counsel/internal memos, preparing for mediations and arbitrations, etc.). Trial experience is a plus but not required for consideration.
You should be a team-oriented professional who is focused on client results. Reasonable billable expectation, competitive benefits package, and a supportive management team.
Salary is based on experience; currently budgeted for $180,000 to $300,000 per year.
