FOUNDED IN 1990 BY MCKENDREE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, OUR PROGRAM IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING EXCELLENT FULL-TIME CARE FOR NINETY-EIGHT CHILDREN, 6 WEEKS-5 YEARS. THE PROGRAM OPERATES YEAR-ROUND, MONDAY-FRIDAY, 7 A.M.-5:30 P.M.

EIGHT BEAUTIFUL CLASSROOMS, A UNIQUE OUTDOOR SPACE, ART STUDIO, AND INDOOR ACTIVE PLAY AREAS PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR WARM RELATIONSHIPS WITH RESPONSIVE EDUCATORS AND MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES THAT ENHANCE EARLY LEARNING.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Preschool Teacher at McKendree Daycare located in Nashville, TN. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, early childhood education, and effective communication. They will work alongside a Co-Teacher.

Qualifications

• Experience in Early Childhood Education
• Strong Communication skills
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Previous experience in a daycare or preschool setting is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus
