Full Time Caregiver

Client lives in her own home; she is currently bed bound. She had a fall and fractured her Hip back in the summer and has been scared to get out of bed since. She is bedbound, she has a transfer shower chair, she is stand and pivot to shower chair and then into the bathroom to shower. Client has pain from Interstitial Cystitis that limits the amount of time she can sit up; it causes her a lot of pain. 

Schedules Available: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am       40hrs per week is required

- Assist with medication reminders, report discrepancies

- Provide patient care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Transferring of patients as needed using proper body mechanics

- Care for individuals with Dementia or memory impairments

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and employees

- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding

- Provide care in various settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or private residences 

 

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Caregiver, HHA or CNA

- Ability to properly lift and move objects or individuals safely

- Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia or memory impairment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance and Transportation
- Completed or willingness to complete Hands-On CPR Certification

- Completed or willingness to complete Level 2 Background Screening
