What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Intern position at McKenney's Inc.?
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Help develop the company’s mid-year budget (both capital and operating budgets)
- Develop and maintain financial metrics to benchmark across multiple markets
- Participate in or perform ad-hoc projects as needed
- Prepare and review projections, analyses, and statistical reports
- Partner with business units to create meaningful business intelligence dashboards using Tableau software
- Identifies variances and understands their impact on the overall financial statements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing degree in Finance or Accounting with graduation date of May 2023 or earlier
- Proficiency in Excel (vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables)
- Minimum GPA 3.3
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant internship / work experience
- Demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and an aptitude for business, finance, or accounting
- Tableau
- Microsoft SQL

- High aptitude for learning and strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
- Strong written, verbal and quantitative skills
