Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art operating rooms at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the operating room environment, including setup of equipment, supplies, and solutions.
- Assistance to surgeons during procedures, including passing of instruments and supplies.
- Management of the sterile field and specimen handling.
- Quality control measures to ensure patient safety, including sponge and supply counts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist, obtained through successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other recognized surgical technology program.
- Active certification as a National Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
Working Hours and Availability:
- Standard working hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
- Occasional on-call requirements may apply.
