About Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Preparation of the operating room environment, including setup of equipment, supplies, and solutions.
- Support to surgeons during procedures, including passing of instruments and supplies.
- Management of the sterile field and specimen handling.
- Implementation of quality control measures to ensure patient safety.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist, achieved through successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other recognized surgical technology program.
- Current certification as a National Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
Work Schedule:
- Standard working hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
- Occasional on-call requirements may apply.
