Job Summary:
- Responsible for clerical and secretarial unit management within the Nursing service department.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED with unit secretary training and/or applicable experience.
- Hospital background preferred.
- Knowledge of medications, medical terminology and spelling.
- Keyboard skills and familiarity with computers essential.
- Ability to interact with the public courteously and effectively.
- Ability to work in a busy area, adapting to frequent interruptions, while maintaining efficiency, calm demeanor and a pleasant approach.
