We are looking for an Installation Manager to lead and oversee millwork installations, ensuring each project is executed with efficiency, quality, and precision. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at problem-solving on-site, and is passionate about delivering flawless installations that match our design intent.
About the Role
The Installation Manager is the key link between design, production, and final execution, ensuring our millwork is installed seamlessly and meets the highest standards. You will oversee field verification, site coordination, scheduling, and quality control, working closely with Production, Engineering, and Project Management to ensure smooth installations and satisfied clients.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Plan & Coordinate Installations – Develop schedules, manage trade work, and oversee site logistics.
✔️ Field Verification & Problem-Solving – Ensure measurements, access points, and logistics align with design and engineering requirements.
✔️ Quality Control & Safety – Inspect shop-built components before shipment and oversee site safety compliance.
✔️ Client & Team Communication – Serve as the company’s on-site representative, maintaining professionalism and clarity in all interactions.
✔️ Inventory & Logistics Management – Organize shipments, track stored materials, and maintain installation tools.
What We’re Looking For
3 years of millwork installation supervision (residential & commercial projects preferred)
Strong knowledge of architectural millwork, carpentry, and site logistics
Hands-on leadership with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and trades
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, scheduling tools, and project reporting
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Required PPE: steel-toed boots, protective eyewear, hearing protection, and hard hats
- Adherence to McKenzie Safety Guidelines at all times
