We are looking for a skilled Millwork Installer to join our team and help execute custom millwork installations with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. This role is ideal for a hands-on craftsman who takes pride in delivering flawless installations and enjoys working in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment.
About the Role
As a Millwork Installer, you will be responsible for on-site installation of custom millwork, cabinetry, and architectural woodwork, ensuring all components are securely and precisely fitted. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and fellow craftsmen to complete projects efficiently and uphold McKenzie Craft’s high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Install High-End Custom Millwork – Fit and secure cabinetry, paneling, trim, and casework with precision.
✔️ Field Verification & Adjustments – Take accurate measurements, verify site conditions, and make necessary modifications for seamless installations.
✔️ Work with Other Trades – Coordinate with contractors and other trades to ensure smooth execution.
✔️ Ensure Quality & Safety – Follow installation drawings, meet design specifications, and adhere to safety standards.
✔️ Problem-Solving & Efficiency – Identify and resolve on-site challenges while maintaining project timelines.
What We’re Looking For
🔹 3 years of experience in architectural millwork, cabinetry, or carpentry installations
🔹 Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, fasteners, and installation techniques
🔹 Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and site plans
🔹 Attention to detail & problem-solving skills to ensure flawless execution
🔹 Strong work ethic & teamwork – Able to collaborate and take direction
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Required PPE: steel-toed boots, protective eyewear, hearing protection, and hard hats
- Adherence to McKenzie Safety Guidelines at all times
