McKEON is a full-line manufacturer of wide-span opening protectives both fire rated and non-rated assemblies to include FEMA, blast and bullet resistant and forced entry systems.

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including but not limited to product catalog design, training materials, website maintenance, email marketing campaigns, educational slide presentations, social media, and other collateral design. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong creative flair coupled with technical proficiency in various design software applications. Marketing experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Design product catalogs ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and aesthetic appeal.
Develop comprehensive training materials for use in educational courses.
Collaborate with the team to produce engaging weekly blog posts, including editing copy, retouching images, and uploading content to the website.
Manage the automated email campaign by updating photos and monitoring responses.
Maintain a biweekly newsletter to website signup list based on the latest blog content.
Maintain the company website using WordPress. Make copy changes, product photography updates to existing; and create new pages.
Develop and enhance PowerPoint and Keynote presentations, ensuring consistency and relevance across all materials.
Create training presentations in both Keynote and PowerPoint formats and upload them to the website.
Design and execute various email campaigns, such as new product announcements, holiday office closings, and other communications from the home office.
Manage the product photography library. Coordinate new product photography.
Collaborate with the team on new product announcements, including the creation of information sheets, webpages, webinars, and email announcements.

Required Skills / Qualifications :

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Familiarity with Keynote, Word, PowerPoint.

Experience with WordPress for website management.

Familiarity with MailChimp or similar email marketing platforms.

Strong understanding of design principles and branding.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and accuracy.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.

5 years as a graphic artist.

Construction / Door industry preferred but not necessary.
