Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00 PM until completion

Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to mentor less-experienced peers and assist supervisors with team members how to do nightly assignments in a safe & efficient way
• Identify bottle necks within the workflow and implement solutions to overcome those barriers.
• Prioritize workload to ensure the team gets out in a timely manner.
• Ability to problem solve when discrepancies arise in a timely manner.
• High sense of awareness with your surroundings with all areas within the department.
• Ensures the effectiveness of Standard operating procedures & making sure team members are following
• May prepare reports of results and conclusions for management.
• Delegate nightly assignments to team members
• Perform nightly performance audits
• Perform nightly performance & safety observations
• Learn all other warehouse department operations

Minimum Requirements:

• Typically requires 5 years of related experience

• Good communication skills with the ability to speak with individuals to clearly explain each process effectively
• Passion and commitment to the success of our team and individuals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of flexibility needed, to meet challenges of working in a high-intensity environment with constantly changing priorities
• Must be capable of working independently and self-directed with minimal oversight from management
• Good critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to operate the Power Industrial Equipment as needed and maintain appropriate certification. (I.e., Order Pick, Stand-up Forklift, Reach Truck, Walkie Rider.)
• Hands-on work in a Leadership role or capacity is a plus.
• Frequent walking and lifting of products (should be able to lift 50 pounds
• Familiarity with full-size computer or laptop and the Microsoft Windows environment.
• Must be willing to work in a refrigerator environment 80 percent of the time.

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

• Some knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures; Reading, writing, arithmetic skills and familiarity with computers

• Position includes standing, sitting, walking in a warehouse environment
• Must be able to carry and operate a laptop at times
