- About the Role
- What You’ll Do
- Accurately and safely measure voltage and current to troubleshoot circuits, ensuring seamless operations.
- Align bearings, shafts, and drives, and adjust belt and chain tensions to maintain optimal mechanical performance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule tailored to each device's requirements.
- Analyze and replace cards and chips, troubleshoot network systems, and configure IBM-compatible computers to ensure smooth communication and operations.
- Utilize ICARE principles to effectively communicate across all organizational levels, enhancing quality and efficiency on the production floor.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.
- What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- Minimum of 0-2 year of facilities engineering experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to work with 460, 220, 120 VAC, and 24 volt DC circuits.
- Experience in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Flexible to work 2nd shift hours and 1 mandatory Saturday per month.
- Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical circuits, including motor starting and power distribution circuits.
- Mechanical expertise in identifying and replacing worn or damaged parts, along with experience in lubrication and pneumatic systems.
- Strong computer skills, including network troubleshooting and RS232/RS422 communications setup.
- Exceptional attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to adapt to changing business demands.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience interacting with customers, employees, and suppliers.
