Program Overview
McKesson’s Intern program is 10 weeks long, based in Richmond, VA, and is designed to provide

- Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute in a fun, demanding, fast-paced environment
- Self-starter that brings both interpersonal skills and a superior ability to identify a problem then solve it
- Passion and enthusiasm for healthcare and our customers’ success
- Enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the internship, at the Undergraduate or Graduate level
- Must have completed a minimum of 75 credit hours by the start of the internship
- 18 Years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- 3.0 GPA
- Major in a technical, business, technology, or analytics discipline
- Superior collaboration and communication skills
- Strong communication, writing and team collaboration skills
- Ability to manage priorities effectively
- Ability to analyze and aggregate data
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on prospective clients
- Executing customer contact campaigns focused on targeted initiatives and/or reactivating dormant accounts
- Partnering with inside sales reps and manager on special projects
- Working in Salesforce.com and executing marketing and sales campaigns
- Learn the basic competencies of a medical sales representative and aid in the sales process
